B.A. (Hons.) in Journalism and Mass Communication is a program solely designed for the students in a manner that prepares and guides them for the constantly changing communication and media field. The framework of the journalism and mass communication course is constructed to provide students with the perfect fusion of theoretical concepts and knowledge as well as practical exhibition and exposure via subjects like creative writing, reporting, radio, and television communication.

This three-year graduate program from DBUU, School of Journalism & Liberal Arts(SoJLA) is designed so as to help students get involved in creative projects and develop short films, perform research and create portfolios as part of assignments. The classroom and out-of-class activities in DBUU, are formulated in a manner that enables the students to practice and improve their communication skills. The educational trips to News Channels, Radio Stations, and other industrial interactions are arranged to provide them with hands-on experience and exposure to the practical implementation of theoretical matter. A variety of activities including Group Discussions are essential parts of the course, keeping in mind the importance of good speech and the personality of the students.
