Bachelor of Planning (B. Plan) is a four-year full time undergraduate professional degree program offered by the Dev Bhoomi School of Architecture Planning & Design at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, Dehradun. This comprehensive programme teaches students about spatial planning in light of the trend of urbanisation witnessed across the nation. Job Opportunities The Course Might Lead To
1992’s 74th Indian Constitution amendment for Municipalities or Urban local bodies (ULBs) has established the need for qualified professionals in the country. After completing the four-year degree program, these planners can work with governments, public and private or corporate organisations, NGOs or research institutes.
These full-fledged planners take on various projects ranging from Smart city projects, land use planning, area-based development of a significant scale, and policy and legislation research work in different critical positions across the country. Select few individuals also pursue Masters both within and outside the country from reputed institutes and can further dwell in research and contribute academically
