DBGI Gains University Status

Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions (DBGI) with 17 years of excellence in academia behind it has now taken another major step in achieving its global dreams. On 2^nd August, it officially transformed into Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) ushering in a new era for higher education not only in the state but for students from all over the country. Its university status; a testament to its consistent efforts to raise the bar for academic excellence, also allows it to take things to the next level and strengthen its position in the higher education landscape.

Since its inception, it has been renowned for its cutting-edge programs across seven schools and a vast spectrum of domains including management, computer science, engineering, hotel management, tourism, etc. Today, DBUU has grown to 10 schools that will offer more than 120 programs catering to industry standards and aspirants’ specific goals. Their updated curriculums and innovative pedagogies are designed to build a solid foundation for students to launch their successful careers.

In fact, the university already has a strong global alumni network of over 15000. They are sterling ambassadors for the learning experiences, professionalism, and ethics of the university. They will serve as a rich resource that future students can benefit from, and seek inspiration to follow in their footsteps. They can also gain wider perspectives on campus as they interact with students from more than 26 states in the country. The state-of-the-art campus known for its diversity has built an ecosystem where students from diverse backgrounds thrive and flourish as professionals.

DBUU remains focused on its goal of the holistic development of its students. Besides achieving new academic heights, it has endeavored to create a nourishing environment for students’ all-around development. They can participate in activities of over 25 student clubs and committees that offer them platforms to grow. With over 100 events held every year, students also have ample opportunities to live their college years to the fullest, showcase their talents, and interact with industry practitioners, which help build their professional network.

Throughout its undergraduate and postgraduate programs, DBUU supports the research interests of students as well as faculty members. It has resulted in over 30 design patents that have added to the university’s reputation as a center for knowledge creation. The state-of-the-art facilities on the high-tech, WiFi-enabled campus, modern labs, and the tech-enabled library has created a stimulating ecosystem for students to pursue their interests and quench their thirst for knowledge. Placement linkups with Swiggy, Tech Mahindra, Academia Guru, Cooper Pharma, and other top names open gateways to exciting careers for its graduates. 

With its new university status, it is in a position to bolster those research pursuits, industry linkages, and placement platforms through collaborations with global institutions in academia and the corporate world.
