B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering deals with imparting knowledge about designing and implementing new systems, products, and tools to address the varied needs of society. The program under DBUU, one of the best mechanical engineering colleges in dehradun aims at expanding the student's acumen with critical thinking and problem-solving skills so that they can deal with creating products by taking an idea and refining it into a functional prototype, conducting engineering analysis ( thermal, vibrational, structural, static, dynamic, etc.), using manufacturing technologies & production methods for the expected form and fit needed to perform the expected function.

This Mechanical Engineering course at our Department of Mechanical Engineering helps students learn analytical tools to manage the design and manufacturing of limitations, experience manufacturing technologies and methods to improve products, enhance collaboration and interaction skills with teamwork to bring ideas and products to market. The program renders holistic learning that equips students to become well-rounded specialists and businesspeople for Management and Administration roles in the industry and society in their career journey.

The student-centered learning approach adds important value to the learner's perception combined through Workshops, Assignments, Training, Seminars, Lab Sessions, Projects, and Independent Study. Students also get CAD/CAM training in the latest design software that brings formal methods of familiarizing industrial practices, which further helps students apply their classroom knowledge to live industrial situations.
