The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering( ECE) has achieved excellence through rapid growth in teaching, research, and innovation. Faculty members are actively involved in diverse research areas that cover both core and advanced aspects of Electronics and Communication Engineering, with strong collaboration among departmental research groups. The department focuses on key domains such as Communication Systems, Embedded Systems and VLSI, and RF and Microwave Engineering. Backed by a well-designed curriculum and modern laboratories, it offers state-of-the-art facilities to support projects and development in embedded systems, VLSI, RF engineering, and wireless technologies. The department continually enhances academic programs by integrating emerging technologies to prepare students for industry readiness. It provides a scholarly and professional learning environment, promotes cutting-edge research and innovation for national development, and strengthens academic–industry linkages for practical exposure. Its vision is to become a center of excellence in skill development, producing engineering professionals equipped to meet evolving global challenges through research and innovation.
This lab is useful for students to design and analyze working of integrated circuits. Basic Laboratory Instruments: CROs signal generators, regulated power supplies, Millimeters and accessories. Breadboards, soldering facilities, other Measuring Instruments.
The lab is used for Microwave Measurement and Design & Characterization of Microwave devices and circuits research areas.
This laboratory will enable the undergraduate students to learn the basic concepts and techniques in digital electronic circuits and systems.
As a teaching laboratory it is used extensively in the Fiber Optical Communications course, as well as for several labs in Engineering Electromagnetics. It has been used occasionally in support of Fundamentals of Electronic Instrumentation.
This laboratory is used to provide intensive practical exposure to learn the assembly and embedded C programming systematically for the different issues of microprocessor and microcontroller
The Project Laboratory has a key role in promoting practical learning experience, where students develop creative proposals, and execute their final projects.
