Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University presents the Global Multidisciplinary Hackathon Lakshagriha 2026, a 24-hour non-stop innovation challenge designed to bring together bright minds from national and international universities and institutions. The hackathon serves as a dynamic platform where ideas meet execution, encouraging participants to collaborate, innovate, and build impactful solutions within a real-world problem-solving environment.
Under the Vision of Viksit Bharat and anchored around the theme “Innovation for Industry Challenges and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, the hackathon invites students to work on carefully curated problem statements that reflect pressing societal, industrial, environmental, and technological challenges. These problem statements are aligned with UN SDGs, ensuring that the solutions developed are not only innovative but also socially relevant, sustainable, and scalable.
Over an intense 24-hour period, participating teams will ideate, design, prototype, and present
solutions across domains such as engineering, computer science, healthcare, management,
agriculture, design, law, education, and liberal arts. The event structure integrates mentorship
from industry experts and faculty, innovation clinics, and multiple evaluation rounds, offering
participants a holistic innovation experience that mirrors real startup and industry ecosystems.
