Master of Planning (M. Plan) is a two-year full-time post-graduate professional degree program offered by the School of Architecture Planning & Design at DBUU, This four-semester comprehensive programme is structured to further the aptitude and skill set (analytical and technological) of budding planning professionals.

The M.Plan course exposes and simultaneously sensitises the planning students toward complex issues associated with planning, development and management of human settlements (both urban and rural). Through interaction with public and private organisations, students are also offered an insight into the world of planning and the know-how of various projects related to development, policy-making and management.

The candidate must have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. Candidates having B.Planning/B.Arch/B.Tech Civil/Post Graduate in Geography/Sociology/Economics from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for admission.

PSO-1  Graduates will be future planners equipped with adequate skills required to comprehend urban and regional issues and to analyse physical, socio-economic, cultural, political, and ecological dimensions of the human settlements
PSO-2 Graduates will be professionals who are sensitized about the various facets of planning for human settlements and who have the required analytical skills needed for performing the assigned task related to planning and implementation
PSO-3 Graduates will be able to prepare sustainable development plans by understanding the characteristics of the city
PSO-4  To enable them to handle the complexities of modern requirements and encourage exploration, innovation, and creative experimentation in shaping the living environment
