Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Thermal/Design

Masters in Thermal Engineering is a sub-discipline of Mechanical Engineering that deals with mechanisms and theories of heat energy and transfer movement. M.Tech. in Thermal Engineering emphasizes real-time fluid flow and heat transfer applications in thermal energy systems, refrigeration & air conditioning, Cryogenic engineering, etc. It equips students in planning, designing, and production of new thermal energy systems and allied sciences. The programme prepares students with innovative techniques like combustion diagnostics, flow visualization, particle characterization, and other imaging theories offered in thermal research.

Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Renewable Energy

M.Tech. in Renewable Energy equips students with a comprehensive knowledge of all primary renewable energy sources and detailed engineering skills, including geothermal, biomass, hydro, marine, solar, and wind. In addition, courses cover legislative, planning, and financial considerations associated with renewable energy and integrating renewable energy into the framework. In this ME College in Dehradun Students will be provided with theoretical and practical knowledge to help manage the growing complexity needs through the combination of profound power systems and modern IT and data engineering methods.

University Fellowship Scheme 2022 (For M.Tech Aspirants)

  1. GATE Fellowship candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 15,000/-
  2. Candidates will be offered a stipend of Rs. 12000/- if they have a 75 % score in B.Tech(Non -GATE).
