The Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences programme is intended to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the demands of today's scientists working on pharmaceutical and drug development projects, by giving students a thorough understanding of the field of drug medicines, This programme will educate students while also preparing them to work in hospitals, clinics, or medical offices.
This course is an advanced education and training program. It focuses on each individual’s course of work. A doctoral degree in pharmaceutics will make a student an expert in pharmaceutical science, pharmaceutical molecules, and the analysis of pharmaceutical drugs.
Throughout the Ph.D. program, students explore a wide range of topics within the pharmaceutical sciences, including medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmaceutical biotechnology, drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical analysis, regulatory affairs, and pharmaceutical marketing.
In addition to research, Ph.D. candidates may engage in teaching or mentoring activities, gaining valuable experience in conveying complex pharmaceutical concepts to undergraduate or graduate students.
