| About Event | This event is being organized to enhance the knowledge of students in various Forestry related fields and present research scenarios. The present Odd semester students of the Department of Forestry, CBZ/Micro (Ist, IIIrd, Vth semesters) have certain subjects in their syllabus such as Ornithology, Botany, Environmental science, Wildlife management, Forest ecology, biodiversity conservation, etc. Since, Asan Barrage Wetland being at the confluence of two perennial rivers, Asan and Yamuna, it attracts a large number of waterfowl, both waders, and divers. The Birds listed as globally threatened species and in the IUCN Red Data Book have been observed at Asan Barrage. | |||||||||||||
