About Event Educational visit to TIEDS (Technology Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development
Society) at IIT Roorkee from Microbiology, Biotechnology and Food technology department, School of Allied Sciences, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University on 4th April 2024. Our intention is to provide our students with a practical understanding of innovation, Entrepreneurship and the processes involved in nurturing startup ventures.
AIM of the Events The objectives of this visit are as follows:

  1. To expose students to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the role of technology incubators in fostering
    innovation.
  2. To provide students with first hand exposure to startup culture and the challenges and the
    opportunities faced by aspiring entrepreneurs.
  3. To facilitate interactions with startup founders, mentors and industry experts associated
    with TIEDS enabling students to gain insights and inspiration for their own entrepreneurial endeavors.
  4. To explore potential avenues for collaboration and partnership between our institution
    and TIEDS, IIT Roorkee in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Sciences, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakahnd University is organizng Educational visit to TIEDS (Technology Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development Society) at IIT Roorkee. Main highlights of the event will include:

  • The visit will focus on fostering a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and supporting startup ideas for fruitful outcomes.
  • Enhancement of entrepreneurial skills by exposing students to real-world business development.
  • Students will gain insights on starting and running businesses, overcoming challenges, and securing funding for startups.
  • Meetings with incubatees at TIEDS and Bio Nest Incubation Center, where speakers will provide valuable information on the startup journey, challenges, solutions, and strategies.
