Scholarship 2024-25 (Admission 2024)
DBUU has initiated the Scholarship 2024 assistance to encourage and accelerate the students' educational and personal development. It is a small step taken towards strengthening the roots of India's future through nurturing its potent beholders.
DOMICILE SCHOLARSHIPS
DIVERSITY
SCHOLARSHIP POLICY
A scholarship of up to 10% on first-year academic fees will be awarded to students from any state in India.
UTTARAKHAND STATE DOMICILE POLICY
Students with a permanent address (DOMICILE) in Uttarakhand or those who have completed their 10th or 12th education in Uttarakhand are eligible for a scholarship of up to 25% per year on tuition fees.
OTHER HILLY STATE
DOMICILE POLICY
A scholarship of up to 10% per year on academic fees is offered to support meritorious and talented students from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Sikkim, Nagaland, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh and District Darjeeling, Kalimpong (West Bengal).

SCHOLARSHIP FOR SON/ DAUGHTER OF DEFENSE PERSONNEL
A scholarship of 5% per year on academic fees shall be awarded to the wards of soldiers who lost their lives for the country.
KHEL RATNA
SCHOLARSHIPS
A scholarship of 5% per year on the academic fee shall be awarded to students with a sporting background.
BETI PADHAO
SCHOLARSHIPS
A scholarship of 5% per year on the tuition fee is offered for Uttarakhand residents and on the academic fee for students from all over India to support the academic pursuits of meritorious and talented girls.
Financial Assistantship
(Note: Scholarships are applicable to direct admissions through the DBUU admission cell.)
DBUU OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ALUMNI IN HIGHER PROGRAMS
A scholarship of 10% extra on the Academic fee for the students that are graduating/graduated from DBUU and opting for a higher programme at DBUU (without a gap).
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE EWS STUDENT
A scholarship of 10% (Per Year) on the Academic fee shall be awarded to the students of EWS category.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WARD OF SINGLE MOTHER
A scholarship of 5% (Per Year) extra on the Academic fee shall be awarded to the ward of single mother.
ORPHAN STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
A scholarship of 5% (Per Year) extra on the Academic fee shall be awarded to orphan students.
DIFFERENTLY ABLED STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
A scholarship of 5% (Per Year) extra on the Academic fee shall be awarded to the differently abled students.
WARDS OF EMPLOYEES SCHOLARSHIPS
A scholarship of 10% (Per Year) extra on the Academic fee shall be awarded to the wards of DBUU employees.
SCHOLARSHIP FOR
SIBLING
A scholarship of 10% (All Year) on the Academic fee shall be awarded to the siblings of current students/alumni.
ALUMNI SIBLINGS SCHOLARSHIPS
A scholarship of 10% (All Year) on the Academic fee shall be awarded to the siblings of current students/alumni.
EMPLOYEE REFERENCE
A scholarship of 5-10% (All Year) on the Academic fee shall be awarded to those recommended/refered by the employees of DBUU.
Over & Above Scholarships
Early Bird SCHOLARSHIPS
A scholarship of 5% (First Year) upto 5,000 rupees. on the total fees shall be awarded to the students on the submission of one semester fee along with other charges before 31st July 2024.
Note:- There will be no early bird scholarship on pharmacy and Nursing Programmes after 15th May 2024.
One Time Fee Submission
A scholarship of 5% (First Year) upto 5,000 rupees on the total fees shall be awarded to the students on the submission of one-time Academic fee and Exam fee plus one time charges.
Management Referral
Management have full right to give any scholarship amount based on candidate profile.

This enhances our diversity, helps those who have a brilliant mind and innovative ideas, and above all, enables us to enroll outstanding candidates from various backgrounds.
Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) offers three types of Scholarships, namely:
- Academic Scholarship: Academic Scholarship, awards Up to 50% Scholarship on First Year fee to the students who enroll in DBUU before 31st August 2024.
- Uttarakhand Domicile Scholarship: This Scholarship is for the students who hail from Uttarakhand. Thus Up to 25% scholarship, on tuition fee shall be awarded to the students who have their permanent address in Uttarakhand.
The Academic Scholarship and Domicile Scholarship are worth rupees 3 Crore whereas COVID 19 Scholarship is of worth 50 Lac.
Eligibility Criteria varies with the type of Scholarship offered by DBUU, which are as follows:
- Eligibility for Academic Scholarship:
- A student must have Minimum 50% marks in XII Std. or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council.
- A student must apply for the Scholarship before 31st August 2024.
- Eligibility for Domicile Scholarship:
- A student must be a native of Uttarakhand thus must the domicile certificate of Uttarakhand.
STEP 01 ENQUIRY
- Visit the scholarship webpage at the official website https://www.dbuu.ac.in/admission/scholarship.php fill and submit the Scholarship Enquiry Form with all the requisite details.
STEP 02 REGISTRATION
- On Successful submission of the Enquiry Form, it will automatically redirect you to the Scholarship Registration Form 2024-25..
- Fill and submit the Scholarship Registration Form 2024-25 with all the requisite details.
STEP 03 PAYMENT
- Successful submission of the Scholarship Registration Form will lead you to the Payment Gateway, thus the last step where the Registration Fee (Rs. 7,000/-) has to be submitted via Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.
- NOTE:- After the successful payment, make sure to download the pay-slip.
- In case, if you want to submit the Registration Fee later, then you can Log In again through the Already Registered option (present at the beginning of the Scholarship Registration Form and can continue the payment process).
The Application Fees amount of Rs 1200/-is not for the scholarship application. It is Application Fees which an interested student has to submit in order to secure the seat in their desired course
Yes, the Scholarship at DBUU is available for both the graduate and post-graduate students.

NOTE:-
- Successful submission of the Scholarship Registration Form will lead you to the Payment Gateway, thus the last step where the Registration Fee (Rs. 7,000/-) has to be submitted via Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.
- The Scholarship will be awarded on the first-come, first-served basis to a limited number of scholars subject to admission.
- The Scholarship shall be granted on Tuition Fee only.
- The scholarship will be provided in installments.
- Academic performance of a student and the attendance shall be the sole criteria for the continuation of the Scholarship and DBUU makes sure to help the potential students maintain it with their dedication and hard work.
- Only the academic Scholarship is based on academic merits rest are as per the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
To be eligible for scholarships, you must have a minimum of 75% attendance.
