The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualification in the any stream, completed from a recognized educational board with a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
This lab is equipped with modern sewing machines, dress forms, cutting tables, and pressing equipment to facilitate hands-on learning. Students are trained in flat pattern making, draping techniques, garment assembly, and finishing processes. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, fit, and quality craftsmanship, enabling learners to understand the technical foundation of apparel production.
The Textile Lab provides students with in-depth knowledge of fibers, yarns, fabrics, and surface design techniques. Equipped with testing tools, fabric samples, dyeing and printing setups, this lab enables students to explore the science and aesthetics of textiles. Students gain practical exposure to fabric identification, textile testing, dyeing methods, printing techniques, and fabric manipulation.
The Fashion Illustration Lab is a creative space where students bring design ideas to life through manual and digital illustration.
