Diploma in Architecture is a professional course that focuses on the fundamental concepts of architectural design, building planning, and layout development. The programme equips students with the technical, functional, and creative skills required to become efficient designers and problem solvers in the field of architecture.
This course helps enhance students’ creativity and innovation while nurturing their artistic abilities to design buildings, spaces, and built environments with aesthetic and functional value. It mainly emphasizes developing the necessary skills and talents to design residential, commercial, and public structures effectively.
The Architectural Design programme covers the principles of planning, designing, and constructing various types of structures. Students learn about the design and development of commercial facilities, highways, airport terminals, shopping malls, complexes, and other civil infrastructure using creative thinking and analytical skills.
The Diploma in Architecture (D.Arch) includes both theoretical knowledge and practical training in architectural drawing, design processes, and construction techniques. Students gain hands-on experience through assignments, projects, study tours, site visits, exhibitions, and design competitions.
