Program Educational Objectives (PEO's)

PEO-1 Graduates will be well-prepared to excel in various roles within the fashion industry, such as designers, design managers, merchandisers, freelance design consultants, fashion communication journalists, and costume designers in textile industries.
PEO-2 Graduates will demonstrate proficiency in assessing, proposing, and applying various techniques related to drafting, draping, and constructing garments, showcasing their expertise in fashion technology and its applications.
PEO-3 Graduates will develop a systematic and critical approach to problem-solving throughout the design process, effectively articulating design ideas verbally, visually, and digitally.
PEO-4 Graduates will be equipped to take on challenging roles as production managers, export managers, merchandisers, and quality controllers in the domestic and garment export industry, effectively linking the design process to appropriate manufacturing processes.
PEO-5 To push the students to form creative, analytical, and communication skills that will make them efficient professionals in fields like development communication and communication research.

Program Specific Objectives (PSO's)

PSO-1 Graduates will prioritize user needs and tasks, developing a deep understanding of user experience design concepts and sensibilities while ensuring systems focus on users from the outset.
PSO-2 Graduates will possess practical skills in utilizing specific methods of user experience design, proficiently planning and conducting empirical measurements of user behavior to inform their design decisions.
PSO-3 Graduates will enhance both individual and collaborative problem-solving skills in design, actively embracing validated learning through prototyping and iterative design practices.
PSO-4 Graduates will effectively articulate their design thinking and process using written and verbal communication as well as visual aids like sketches, wireframes, and decks. Additionally, they will be capable of producing interactive prototypes to present complete concepts for new user interactions with clients.
