Programme Educational Objectives (PEO's)


PEO-1 To equip students with the knowledge of basic science applications in the forensic field
PEO-2 To teach them about the forensic examination of evidence and investigation of all types of evidence
PEO-3 To develop a conceptual understanding of criminal justice systems, rule of evidence, the legal system
PEO-4 To train the students to become potent enough to apply their knowledge of forensic science in varied investigative agencies.

PSO-1 To understand and implement the fundamental concepts of forensic chemistry, biology, and toxicology in forensic sciences
PSO-2 To perform procedures as per laboratory measures in the area of Fingerprint Examination, Forensic Toxicology, and DNA Investigation to propose solutions for criminal offense examination
PSO-3 The ability to implement the fundamentals of basic sciences, fingerprint, questioned document examination, and DNA fingerprinting technique
PSO-4 To impart a primary understanding of criminal law and legal procedures to examine the criminal offenses
